Saudiation in Car Rentals – Fine of 20000 SAR

The Date for Saudization in Car Rentals ends on March 18th today and this was already informed to all of the Car Rental Offices in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The order says that No Expat Should be working in Car Rentals and only Nationals are supposed to work in Car Rentals in Saudi.

As the Order is effective since March 18, 2018; anyone violating this law will be penalized with a fine of 20000 Saudi Riyals as per the Mnistry of Labor & Socail Development.

All Car Rental Shop Jobs are almost occupied by Saudi Nationals now and the expats who are working should stop working after today.

MOL will start inspecting all the Car Rentals and will fine Car Rentals where Expats are employed after March 18th.

Most of the Car Rentals Offices have been closed after this news was out as the Expat worker Salaries were less and if the Offices hir Saudi Nationals they will have to pay more Salaries to them.

Its being diifucult for Expatriates to work and live in Saudi Arabia now after all these things happening and due to this there might be an increase in Oil, Water & Electricity.

This Step i also towars Vision 2030 where the Saudi Goverment wants most of the Jobs occupied by Expats to be handled by Saudi Nationals.
