Saudi Arabia makes 7days quarantine mandatory for unvaccinated visitors. It is must for Non nationals arriving in KSA who have not been vaccinated against COVID-19.

Who require 7 days quarantine?
The returning expatriates and other visitors coming in Saudi Arabia must go for a quarantine of minimum seven days for those who are Not Vaccinated for Covid-19.This will be implemented from May 20.
The ban will remain in force for the countries that were in the list announced before and people from these countries will not be allowed to visit.
Why you should have health insurance?
The visitors who are not vaccinated must have to present to the Saudi authorities an approved valid health insurance document that can cover the risks of the coronavirus treatment.
Who are exempted for 7days quarantine?
There is an exemption from the quarantine for groups visiting the kingdom with requirement that they apply all the Ministry of Health approved precautionary measures.
- Saudi Nationals, their children and spouses, their domestic workers coming with them.
- Domestic workers who are not vaccinated accompanying a vaccinated national.
- Travelers who are immunized.
- Official Delegations
- The diplomats and their families living with them.
- Some individuals carrying the diplomatic visa.
- Airline Crews
- Sea Crews
- Truck Drivers and their assistants.
- Personnel involved in health and its related trades.
Do Seven days institutional quarantine required for vaccinated travelers?
Weqaya the Public Health Authority told that quarantine would apply for the people also who received the PHA approved covid-19 vaccine doses less than 14 days prior to their arrival in to the Saudi Arabia.
PCR test must be done on the first day and seventh day from the day of landing. The charges for the quarantine should be paid by the traveler and will be included in the airfare charges
Weqaya noted that the new protocols will go into effect starting May 20, 2021.
The quarantine is not mandatory for persons who completed 14 days after completing their doses of vaccination approved by Saudi Authorities .Its applies to saudi nationals and visitors arriving in the kingdom from abroad.
The vaccinated visitors need to provide a PCR test certificate taken under 72 hours prior to their departure date. Kids under 8 years age are exempted.
GACA said air carriers are bound to work and contract with hotels , shelters and quarantine facilities approved by Ministry of Tourism to provide quarantine facility for travelers who meet the conditions of institutional quarantine for 7 days period.
The swab should be done on 6th day and result must be negative.
