For residents living in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and those who want to visit the Grand mosque in Makkah for Prayer or for performing Umrah should need a valid permit through Eatmarna app.

Pilgrims who have a valid permit will only be allowed to enter the Grand Mosque in Makkah, Saudi Arabia

Ministry has already warned Pilgrims to follow the precautions and adhere to the deadline specified in the permit when entering the holy city of Makkah.

Multiple security points with special forces deployed at all entry points of Grand Mosque, Makkah to allow permit holders as per the specified time period to perform prayers or Umrah.

The special forces deployed to provide guidance, humanitarian services and control the flow of vehicles to the holy city in accordance with the existing coordination with the operations centers.
