Ministry of Interior Saudi Arabia has announced movement or mobility permits during this Curfew (lock-down) period for Makkah & Madina region on the MOI official website.
Earlier, essential services like food, health, bank etc were excluded from curfew and got the workers in those sectors already got the permit from the government to travel in these regions.
Movement Permits for Makkah & Madina by MOI
Apart from the above excluded groups, the government agency stated that there will be a review of the no. of authorized workers & employees and after reviewing MOI will issue necessary permits.
Passengers not to exceed 50% of passenger load , vehicle registration details, working days & time.
Violators found will be fined SR 10,000 along with legal procedures in the kingdom.
This will start from 14th April, 3 PM onwards.
