Ministry of Interior in Saudi Arabia has warned all the expatriates regarding Huroob Status and its fine. As per Jawazat any expat who is in Huroob (Runaway status) will face a fine of SR 50,000 and will be jailed for six months.
Along with fine and imprisonment they will be deported to their home country also lose a chance of returning back to the kingdom ever again.

Jawazat has also informed that any employer will be unable to cancel Huroob status through Absher Online, the only way to cancel Huroob status of labour is approaching in person to Expats Jawazat building within a span of 15 days.
Jawazat also gave a warning to all expatriates and Employers not to accommodate or transport any illegal expats in the kingdom and those who will violates this will be penalized.
Small establishments will be fined SR 100,000 and will also prevent those companies to recruit for five year, if any illegal employment found.

MOL have warned the employers against false huroob statements which are issues against their expat workers and stated that it will stop its services for 5 years to employers who play with the future of expatriate workers by manipulating huroob reports against them.
Earlier, many employers have played with the system and marked false Huroob reports for expatriates, where the expatriates have suffered a lot due to and they have to pay the employers more amount for cancellation of Huroob and the employers will make more money.
