Council of Cooperative Health Insurance (CCHI) spokesman have clarified that Its not a mandate for Employers to provide Insurance for Expatriate parents & Siblings.

Employers are not required to provide mandatory health insurance to Expat Parents and siblings.

Expat employees or Non Saudi’s must arrange for the health insurance for Siblings and Parents living along with them in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Speaking to Al-Ekhbaria channel, Al-Qasabi said that Cooperative Health Insurance Law stipulates that it is compulsory on the part of employers in the private sector to provide health insurance to all their Saudi and non-Saudi employees and their family members who are covered under the system and they include wives, sons up to the age of 25 years, and unmarried and non-working daughters.
