The Directorate General of Passports (Jawazat) in kingdom of Saudi Arabia has launched a new service, the “Muqeem Report Request” service through its “Muqeem” portal for electronic passport services.

Now Muqeem electronic portal enables establishments to request a report for their residents, with the aim of submitting it to any authority as an official document approved by the General Directorate of Passports in KSA.

Muqeem Report Request Service

The service enables the owners of establishments to issue an electronic report about any one of its employees so as to submit it to the agencies upon request.

The report contains the basic information about the expatriate or foreign worker, and it is a official document approved by Jawazat without the need for documentation from any of its departments.

This report can be validated or verified by any authority in the kingdom using Barcode reader or through Muqeem portal.

This Report will be valid till 7 days from the day of generation.

The Directorate General of Passports (Jawazat) has also provided the steps that enable the employers to take advantage of this service.

Steps for Requesting Muqeem Report Service:

  • This can be done through entering the establishment’s account in Muqeem Gate
  • Then going to the Residents’ Administration and choosing to search for a resident
  • Then entering the resident identity number or passport number
  • Then clicking on the resident file view, and from there choose the Resident Report service from the Passport Services menu to view the report information and then click print.

Jawazat have called on all establishments to take advantage of (e-service) electronic passport services provided through the Muqeem online portal to ensure speedy completion and quality service without the need to personally visit passport departments.
