Flights from UAE allowed over Saudi Arabia

Saudi General Authority for Civil Aviation, GACA in Saudi Arabia has approved UAE’s international flights to run over Saudi Arabia. The request of UAE’s flights over KSA airspace has been approved.

All UAE flights from Emirate will now be able fly over Saudi territory as per the request made by United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Faisal bin Farhan said the agreement would not change the Kingdom’s stance towards the Palestinian cause.

“The Kingdom’s firm position towards the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian people will not change by allowing flights to and from the UAE to pass over Saudi airspace, the Kingdom appreciates all efforts to achieve a just and lasting peace in accordance with the Arab Peace Initiative,” Farhan tweeted.

Saudi Arabia has agreed to allow all flights between the United Arab Emirates and Israel to pass through its airspace, following lobbying from the Trump administration.
