Ministry of Labor & Social Development in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia has announced that the Car rentals outlets in Saudi Arabia should also follow Saudization, which means only Saudi Nationals can work in Car Rentals outlets in Saudi Arabia.

This order will come in effect from 1st Rajjab (In Effect within 40 Days). Car Rentals in Saudi Arabia (KSA) have asked the Ministry to give them sufficient time to prepare for Saudization before implementing this decision.

Car Rentals in Saudi Arabia to follow Saudization

Main focus of Saudi Vision 2030 is to improve the Labor market in the kingdom and provide most of the Jobs to Saudi Nationals by the end of 2030 and the country should not be dependent on Expatriates (foreign workers). Due to which the Ministry is also providing training and support in several areas to improve the Job market for young Saudi Nationals.

The ministry urged all stakeholders in the private sector to submit their suggestions with regard to restricting jobs in car rental outlets to Saudis. The ministry posted its recommendations on its community participation portal, “Together We Improve”, which can be accessed at https://qarar.ma3an.gov.sa/a/ideas/recent/campaigns/19905

In continuation of Vision 2030 and providing employment to all Saudi Nationals. Ministry has also launched many initiatives as below:

– Organization of working Remotely
– Organization of Self Employment
– Support for Enterprise Settlement Growth

All the above programs are to enhance and support Saudi Nationals Skills and to support them in capturing the Labor Marketing for every employment opportunity in the kingdom.
