Government Directorate of Passports in Saudi Arabia (Jawazat) has tweeted on their page that its important to carry your residence permit (Iqama) everytime you go outside.
Its important that expats cooperate in carrying Iqama on every checks to maintain security and stability.

– 6 Weeks of imprisonment
