Vaccination Booster Mandatory in Saudi Arabia (KSA)

Due to the increase of the new varaint of CO VID in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Minitry of Interior (MOI) in Saudi has announced that all the people living in Saudi Arabia (Citizens & Expats ) are required to take Vaccination Booster effective 1st February 2022 as per news sources.

If all the residents have already taken their necessary doses, still have to take Vaccination Booster to secure their status as “Immune” on the Tawakkalna app.

Vaccination Booster Mandatory in Saudi Arabia

However, the booster vaccine was supposed to be a mandatory after eight months of getting the second dose of the vaccine. But, in the current scenario and increase in of the new variant this has been made a mandate in Saudi Arabia (KSA) before 1st February 2022.

The “immune” status is mandatory for anyone wanting to attend any social, economic, commercial, cultural, scientific, entertainment or sporting event in the country

People those who were exempted from taking the vaccine due to health issues and other reasons as listed on the app do not need to take the booster dose.
