Ministry of Human Resources & Social Development (MHRSD) in Saudi Arabia has issued an order to raise the minimum wages for Saudi Nationals who are under the nitaqat program.
As per the order announced, the minimum salary or wages for Saudi nationals employed under the Nitaqat program has been increased from SR 3,000 to SR 4,000 monthly.
SR 4,000 – Minimum Salary for Saudi’s under Nitaqat Program
Saudi Ministry also informed that SR 4,000 would be minimum salary for one Saudi worker as per calculation under Nitaqat program
Any Salary which is less than SR 4,000 will be calculated as half Saudi worker in Nitaqat program
Any Part-time workers will also be calculated in the Nitaqat program as half of a Saudi worker provided that social insurance contributions are paid for him with a minimum monthly wage of SR3,000, the ministry said.
A part time employees is calculated as half a worker for a minimum of two entities.
