Saudi Arabia allows Shops to remain Open during (Prayer) Salah Times, which means Shops and commercial establishments will not be closed during prayer times and can remain open in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), according to a circular issued by the Federation of Saudi Chambers on Thursday
Commercial & economic activities can also be kept open throughout the business hours, including prayer times, according to a circular issued by the federation of Saudi chambers on Thursday.
Shops to Remain Open during (Prayer) Salah Times
This decision was taken as a part of the preventive measures taken to prevent the spread of coronavirus and ensure shoppers’ and customers’ health and safety.
This will help avoid over crowding of people and gatherings near shops during prayer times, if they are closed.
The federation stated that the move aims to improve the shopping experience and raise the level of services provided to customers and clients.
The federation noted that the decision was made after consulting with the appropriate authorities.
