Ministry of Hajj & Umrah in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia has announced a launch of issuing Umrah E-Visa (Electronic Visa) through a special platform.
This service of E-Visa was launched considering the no of pilgrims expected to arrive in the kingdom for the new season. 10 Million Umrah Visa are expected to be issued in this upcoming season and the issuance of Umrah E-Visas will begin from this Saturday.
This is a very fast service where anyone can get an Umrah E-visa in just 24 hours which is just in one day or less time even than that. Earlier people who wanted Umrah Visas were supposed to visit Saudi Embassy and Saudi Consulate, but after the launch of this E-Visa service now they can have get Umrah E-Visa in less than 24 hours.
The central platform for the electronic issuance of the Umrah visas will be used to issue all Umrah Visa for the upcoming season.
Ministry has been launching many helpful services to all the pilgrims to make their life easier if they are planning to visit Saudi Arabia for a Hajj or Umrah.
This year Ministry even launched Free transportation service for Hajj Pilgrims between Mina and Makkah (Haram Shareef)
43000 Pilgrims have benefited from free transportation this year in Hajj on Eid Al Adha day or Dhul Hijja 10.
“The pilgrims were transported by 150 buses which worked continuously for 30 hours to take the pilgrims to the Haram to perform Tawaf Al-Ifadha then come back to Mina to stay the night,” he said.
Qari said the initiative was implemented under the instructions of the Makkah governorate and carried out in cooperation with the General Syndicate of Cars.
He said the pilgrims boarded the buses and disembarked at the Jarwal bus station near the Grand Mosque.
