Visa for 49 Countries in Just 7 minutes

E-Visa to be issued to 49 countries within a record time of 7 minutes by Saudi Arabia and these transit Visa will be issued starting 28th of September 2019. this announcement was made by one of the board of directors of Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH). This decision is also taken keeping in mind Kingdom’s Vision 2030 as the Visa will attract more Visitors to Saudi for Investment and Business purpose.

Saudi government wants to attract 100 million visits / year by the year 2030, which will even give a boost of 10% to Saudi’s GDP.

Visas will be available online for SR 300 (approx $80). Multiple Re-entry Visa will be available ar SR 440 for a period of one year.

Multiple Re-Entry Visa users will be allowed to stay in the kingdom for a maximum of 90 days during the year (Validity of this Visa will be for One year only)

Even Non-Muslims can also apply for this VISA, but will not be allowed to visit the Holy cities in Makkah & Madinah.

Saudi government also said in a statement that the strategy reflects the keenness of the wise leadership on achieving the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, with upgrading the tourism sector, which is a key driver in the economic diversification, and this will be keeping pace with the new development requirements that the Kingdom aspires to achieve.
