Many Indians apply for Haj to visit Saudi Arabia, but only those who get selected get a chance to visit Saudi Arabia. Year 2018 have brought good news for all the Indians. Per the request of India’s Union Minister Abaas Naqvi, Saudi Arabian government has increase the Hajj Quota by 5000 pilgrims and now the Hajj quota is for 175,000+ Pilgrims.
This decision have come as a pleasant surpirse for all the Indians for this year as the quota has bene increased from 175,025 to 175,025.
Quota increase is happening since two years in which a total of 40,000 pilgrims were increase in this period.
Around 355,000 Indian pilgrims have applied for Haj through Indian Committee and only half of them 175,000 pilgrims were selected through the lucky draw.
Saudi Arabia also have pans to to recevie Indian Pilgrims via Sea too.
