First Flight to NEOM Bay by Saudi Arabian Airlines

Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) operated its First Flight to NEOM Bay on Sunday, the SV 2030 to Neom Bay Airport.

The new airport was inaugurated last week in the presence of the Chairman of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) Abdulhadi Bin Ahmed Al-Mansouri, Director General of Saudi Arabian Airlines Saleh Al-Jasser and CEO of NEOM Company Nazmi Al-Nasr.

First Flight to NEOM Bay

Earlier, the (MCIT) Ministry of Communications and Information Technology announced that Neom Bay Airport will be one of the first airport using the latest 5G wireless network service in the region.

NEOM Bay Airport will conduct regular flights for investors and employees of the NEOM project.

NEOM is a planned 10,230-square-mile transnational city and economic zone to be constructed in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia close to the border of Egypt.

“With the latest technologies, we are steadily moving toward the future,” the ministry said in its official Twitter page on Wednesday.

The tweet was accompanied by an illustration highlighting the words of Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, in which he said that Neom is the destination for the future.
