Saudi General Directorate of Passports (GDP) and Jawazat has given some tie to breathe for the Expatriates whose Iqama gets expired and who are on final Exit.

Though the Amnesty Campaigns has been ended Saudi Jawazat will allow expatrites to remain in the kingdom even if their Iqama has expired. they can stay in the kingdom only for 60 days after the Iqama Epiry and the date of Issuance of the Final Exit VISA.

So, If your Iqama has alrady expired and you got your Final Exit VISA today, you can stay upto 60 day in the kingdom not mor than that.

This information was clarified on Twitter Official account of GDP where in an expat asked a question “An expat asked the question: “I have a final exit visa and my Iqama has expired. Is there a problem with this?” The GDP replied “There is no problem, provided the departure is within 6o days of the date of the issuing of the visa. Thank you.” and the answer given by GDP was “There is no problem, provided the departure is within 6o days of the date of the issuing of the visa. Thank you.”
