Iqama or Muqeem card have been implemented in Saudi Arabia with accurate details of residential status of a person. the new Iqama (Muqeem Card) doen’t have any expiry dat on it, but will only show the Issued date.

Every Expatriate Must know these Iqama Changes in 2017

There have been few changes in the Iqama which every Exptriate living in Saudi Arabia must know. Here are the changes:

– No Iqama Expiry Date (Only Iqama Issued Date is available
– Electronic Service الخدمات الإلكترونية heading will display in place of City Name
– License Number of Business of Sponsor is not available on New Iqama (Muqeem Card)

These changes will be seen only for Expatriates who got theri Iqama renewed. All the other Expatriates who are holding the old Iqamas will use the same old Iqama till the time of Iqama renewal, after which they will get the New Iqama (Muqeem Card).

The New Iqaawilll show changes Iqama copy number after renewing the Iqama or Naqal Kafala (Transfer), which will ensure the authenticity of the new Iqama
