Private sector will have four days Eid  Ul Fitr holidays starting from May 1st (Sunday).

The Ministry of Human Resources & Social Development has announced    Eid Ul Fitr holidays for the upcoming greatest Muslim Celebration that concludes the holiest month spent in fasting and prayers for the sake of Almighty Allah and following the path of Prophet Mohammed SAWS. Absolute abstinence from food, water and all kinds of entertainment from Dawn to Dusk for ALLAH SWT is called as fasting.

Private Sector Eid Holidays 2020: 4 Days

The Eid Ul Fitr holidays for private sector will be from 1st May 2022 till 4^th of May 2022.Its expected that this year we will have 30 days fasting/ Siyams and the 30th day of fasting /Siyam will end on 01-5-2022.

The crescent of Shawwal is expected to be seen on 30-4-2022 post Maghrib possibly. Hence 01-5-2022 will be the first day of Eid Ul Fitr.

This  Eid ul Fitr  unlike every year is expected to be different the same way  this  Month of Ramadhan is passing by which we never heard of or imagined.

The stringent COVID-19  rules and regulations for prayers  and gatherings will not be in place. The Eid prayers will be like earlier.
