Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Interior has given directives to allow direct entry for fully vaccinated expats from the countries which were banned and has travel restrictions to directly entering Saudi Arabia.
Earlier, Expats from the below 9 countries were banned to enter Saudi Arabia directly.
- South Africa & Lebanon
Many Expats were travelling to other countries like Armenia, Uzbekistan, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Russia etc and were being quarantine for 15 days and then were travelling to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
This decision will help the Expats who were waiting in their home countries and who were on Exit Re-Entry Visa to directly land into Saudi Arabia.
All the Expats who are willing to travel directly to Saudi will need be fully vaccinated with approved Vaccination and must have taken all the required doses before travelling.
Embassy or India & Pakistan welcome this decision.
The new decision will be applicable only to those foreigners who have a valid residency permit (iqama) and left the Kingdom on exit and reentry visa after taking two doses of vaccine against coronavirus from Saudi Arabia.
The Ministry of Interior (MOI) source said that the authorities had allowed earlier direct entry to Saudi citizens, as well as to foreign diplomats, health practitioners and their families from the countries facing travel ban.
