CoronaVirus Facts: Important Information about Corona Virus

Coronovirus started from a Chinese seafood market and WHO confirmed about this virus effected more than 9,800 people in Wuhan, China.

There are chances the virus will spread to other countries like US, France, Germany, Australia, Japan, Canada and South Korea, the United Arab Emirates, the UK and Finland.

Many of the Saudi Nationals and Expats children have been studying in China for Medical Courses available in China.

The Wuhan market in China was shut-down for inspection and cleaning on January 1 2020, but by then it appears that the Coronavirus was already starting to spread beyond the market itself.

What is CoronaVirus?

Coronavirus are a large group of viruses which are known to infect humans as well as animals. In Humans, it causes respiratory illness that range from common colds to much more serious infections and most well-known case of a coronavirus epidemic was Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (Sars)

Coronovirus Symptoms:

– Runny Nose
– Cough
– Sore Throat
– High temperature

How Coronavirus spreads into your body?

– Virus Enters through the nose and mouth
– It then Finds a ‘host cell’ in the respiratory system
– The host cell then bursts and infects other cells nearby

Once it effects a person, it will be transmitted between humans in droplets from coughing, sneezing, touching & shaking hands

How Coronavirus can Kill?

Most of the victims of Coronavirus die from complcations includinh pneumonia and swelling in the lungs.

The virus also causes swelling in the respiratory system, which can make it hard for the lungs to pass oxygen into the bloodstream leading to organ failure and death.

Severe pneumonia can kill people by causing them to ‘drown’ in the fluid flooding their lungs.

Hopefully, there are no confirmed reports of Coronavirus in Saudi Arabia till now. May Allah protect every human being from Coronavirus and other viruses effecting human beings.
