MOI (Ministry of Interior) Saudi Arabia is has revealed that soon they will be introducing Iris recognition Biometric systems on all its entry location in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in ports, lands and airports to ensure that all the entry points in the Kingdom are thoroughly checked for passengers and residents safety.

National Information Center (NIC) along with MOI (Ministry of Interior) is planning to hire a Saudi company on contract to undertake the installation of Iris recognition Biometric systems
Iris Biometric recognition is an automated method of biometric identification that uses mathematical pattern-recognition techniques on images, videos of a person or both of the irises of an individual’s eyes, whose patterns are unique, stable, and can be seen from a distance.
Iris Biometric identification will be done by capturing details through a camera and decoding and preserving it for a future use.
All the passengers must have to go through biometric before entering into Saudi Arabia.
