Expatriates Students who are studying in Saudi Arabia can continue studying in schools for the current academic year even if their Iqama expires.

Ministry of Education in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia has decided to enable expat students to be enrolled in schools in Saudi even if their Iqama have expired. This step was taken so that the studies of the expat students are not impacted untill the end of the academic year.

This decision to keep the expatriate students enrolled was conveyed electronically to all departments of education across the kingdom.

The ministry said it has communicated its decision electronically to the departments of education so that expatriate students will not lose any schooling day.

Ministry have also asked all the departments to driect this decision to all the admission committees for the enrollment of expat students with expired iqamas.
