Saudi Arabia Council of Ministers has restructured Haj and Umrah Visa for pilgrims and Visitors coming on transit visa coming across the globe.
The Council has unified the Visa Fees and will be issuing Visa for each person for SR300.
This revoked the earlier rule to the effect that an Umrah pilgrim had to pay SR 2,000 in case of repeating the pilgrimage during a period of three years.
This decision was taken by the council after reviewing the recommendation of the General Comittee at the council of Ministers No.92 dated 3-1-1441 (Hijri Calender). The Cabinet has decided to restructure Haj, Visit and transit Visas as follows:
There will be some new regulations for Haj and Umrah pilgrims, including selection of travel with an organized trip by licensed companies, as well as complying with health insurance regulations, and insurance of vehicles for visitors and transit passengers.
This decision will help boost kingdom’s Vision 2030 of providing great services to all the pilgrims and visitors coming to the Saudi Arabia.
