If you’re planning to purchase/buy or sell a Vehicle/Car in Saudi Arabia you will get a Vehicle Registration which is known as Istimara OR Istamara.
Every Car owner should have this card all the time with him. If you bought a car the dealer should give it to you without any delay, and this will be the ownership document and the identity of the car.
This document helps in buying or selling of a car and without a valid Istimara, you will be unable to sell your car.
So, before buying anything please check if for correct Istamara and also its Expiry. Istamara expires in 3 years in Saudi (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) and should be renewed within one month to avoid penalty fee.
