Ministry of Interior has launched a smartphone application to report privacy violations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Main aim of the application is to combat and restrict usage of harmful and derogatory content and usages of mobiles phones in spreading such content online on Internet.
‘Kolonna Amn‘ is the name of the Smartphone app which means ‘We are all security‘. This app was launched this month (March) on 13th which will help each and every citizen of Saudi Arabia to part of the interactive Security Systems.
This application helps users to report privacy violations to the Ministry of Interior to take action.
Sending Private Pictures and malicious images via smartphone is like ‘crossing a Red line.
One who violates such Policy in KSA (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) will have to face a penalty of 500000 SAR or 1 year in Jail
Hopefuly using thi app will help reduce sharing of private pictures & malicious contetn through Mobile Phones.
