The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) has announced that there will be four days holidays for the festival of Eid Al-Adha for both the private and non-profit sectors in the Kingdom.

The ministry has announced that the holidays will start from 8th July, Friday and will last for four days for celebrating the Eid
Eid Al-Adha holidays for the two sectors will last for 4 days starting from the Day of Standing in Arafat on 9th of Dhul-Hijjah, corresponding to July 8, until the end of 12 Dhul-Hijjah, corresponding to July 11.
Eid Al Adha or the Feast of Sacrifice is celebrated all over the Muslim world to mark the anniversary of the willingness of Abraham’s prophet to offer everything to God.
Eid Al Adha lasts four days and is an important occasion for Muslims to make visits to close friends and relatives visit graves, offer sacrificed meat, and finally go to mosques for an Eid prayer.
