Saudi foreign ministry has temporarily suspended entry of Umrah pilgrims in Saudi Arabia due to Coronavirus outbreak in Saudi Arabia.

Muslims seeking to perform Umrah (Makkah & Madina) has been suspended due to the fear of spreading coronavirus in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Most of the pilgrims who come for Umrah visit Makkah (Holy Kaba) and then visits Prophets place (Madina) for religious duties.

Due to precautionary restrictions the health authorities of the kingdom of Saudi Arabia has taken this step for the betterment for everyone.

Entry to the Kingdom for  Umrah and/or visiting the Prophet’s Mosque in Madina is temporarily suspended.

Even people who are coming to Saudi Arabia on a tourist visa will also be judged and people travelling from countries who pose high risk will also be denied entry into the kingdom.

The suspension of Umrah visas due to the coronavirus outbreak will help Saudi to stay safe as well as preserves the lives of pilgrims

Even Cars and Buses have been stopped at Highway check-posts and Entry for Pilgrims by road was also restricted.
