Weather warning by Saudi civil defense Monday to Friday heavy rains expected

Saudi Civil Defense issued Weather warnings for several regions of the Saudi Arabia from Monday till Friday.

The Civil Defense warned of moderate to heavy rainfall  along with high speed winds and thunderstorms that may lead to torrential rain water flows in Mecca, Asir, Al- Baha,Jazan, Jazan & Najran. The regions that will be affected by moderate rainfall will be Hail,Qassim,Madina,Northern borders provinces,Tabuk and Al-Jawf. In the eastern province light to moderate rain is expected.

The warnings by Civil Defense were backed by data from National Center of Meteorology.The Civil Defence Spokesperson Lt.Col.Mohammed Al Hammadi called on all pertaining to the potential damages can be caused due to intense weather.

People are advised to stay away for flooding areas and adhere to the civil defense’s guidelines and updates through various media sources like print media,electronic and social media.
