The Directorate General of Passports in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia has directed all the expats to renew thweir Iqamas on time else if they Iqama gets expired and ther is a delay in Iqama renewal will lead them into Fines or even deportation to their home country.

What If an Expat is caught with Expired Iqama?

If an Expat is caught with an expired Iqama he will be fined upto 500 SAR for the first time, If it gets repeated for the second time he will be fine for 1000 SAR.

If an expat gets caught for the third time with an expired Iqama he will be deported to his home country without any questions asked.

So, all the expats please renew your Iqama on time and as per the regulations Iqama should be renewed before it gets expired. So don’t wait until last day of expiry of Iqama and renew it atleast 3 days before its expiry.
