Expat Engineers must clear this Test to Enter Saudi Arabia

The license to work in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will be issued to the Saudis and expats after they clear a test. This exam is especially for the engineers. This professional test is for the people who are applying for a new work visa. It is also compulsory to have 3 years of experience before appearing for the test.

Earlier, the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) had declared the discovery of 1,200 fake certificates of expat engineers working in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in previous years. Foreigners who came to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on engineer’s visa, however, who weren’t engineers, had their visas modified. 1,200 out of 200,000 were found to have submitted fake certificates while working in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Now, the engineers are licensed and there’s a new system to qualify them. Samarqandi said, adding that they verified that those operating within the engineering sector were real. Modalities for the professional test was discussed by senior officials of the education and training evaluation commission and the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
