Domestic Flights to be opened from May 31

As per update from GACA (General Authority of Civil Aviation), Domestic flights will be resumed starting 31st May 2020 in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

This will also happen in phase-wise, wherein all domestic flights to all destinations will be resumed within two weeks

GACA has completed its preparation of starting Domestic flights safely after the suspension will be lifted to ensure a safe travel for all the travelers inside the kingdom & across Saudi Airports.

GACA have asked all the Air carriers to take important precautionary & health measures incorporating best practices from Ministry of Health Saudi Arabia.

In the first phase, which includes 11 airports, national airlines only will be allowed to operate from and to Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Madinah, Qassim, Abha, Tabuk, Jazan, Hail, Al-Baha and Najran.

Domestic flights will  be opened from 31st May 2020

As part of precautionary and preventives measures to curb the spread of the coronavirus, the GACA had suspended all domestic flights on March 21.
