8500+ Commercial Businesses Prohibited

Around 8,787 commercial businesses in Riyadh will stay closed as the Municipality of Riyadh has prohibited to start their usual activities from June 20th 2020.

These businesses include Salons, Barber Shops, Gyms, Cinemas & Sheesha Cafes.

Most of the business included in these are the businesses where people usually social distancing cannot be applied.

These businesses will be included in the Phase-3 plan by Saudi Authorities to bring normal life back in Saudi Arabia.

Other activities that remain suspended include sports and health clubs, recreational centers and cinemas.

As the Curfew has eased in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia now, people have started working in offices, opening of shopping malls and people shwoing up in the market places have been observed.

But there have also been increase in COVID-19 new cases per day in the kingdom crossing 90,000+ cases.
