Ministry of Islamic Affiars of Saudi Arabia has informed that they cannot lift temporary ban for Congregation Prayers in mosques in Saudi Arabia in this pandemic situation.

Keeping in mind the health and precautionary methods taken by the government to fight COVID-19; Congregation daily Prayers & Friday Prayers in mosques was banned and the ban will continue to safeguard people from the virus.

As reported by Saudi Press Agency, The Ministry of Islamic Affairs of Saudi Arabia told that they are working day & night with Islamic & Health Authorities in order to keep people safe in the kingdom.

Temporary ban of Congregation Prayers in mosques is to fight COVID-19 by praying at home and avoid social gatherings.

Dr. Abdullah Al-Sheikh mentioned that he is very keen on lifting temporary ban on Friday and Obligtory prayers in the mosques. He is waiting for this virus to disappear and all issues related ot virus should resolve before opening prayers in mosque.
