Saudi Arabia Government has announced that it will raise the prices of domestic petrol prices by more than 50% for few products and will cut few subsidies after the Saudi Budget 2017 was announced. This decision was taken due the budget deficit in 2017.

It was said that Prices for Electricity, Water, Diesel and other Petroleum products.

Here are the Current Fuel Prices – Dec 2016

Petrol 91 – 75 halala/ Ltr

Petrol 95 – 90 halala/ Ltr

The council decided to raise the price of higher-grade unleaded petrol to 0.90 riyals ($0.33) per litre from 0.60 riyals ($.22), a hike of 50 per cent, and for lower-grade petrol to 0.75 riyals ($0.28) from 0.45 riyals ($0.37) per litre, a 67 per cent rise.
