Gas Cylinders to be available in Gas Stations & Super Markets

Ministries of Municipal and Rural Affairs ahev been directed to make sure that Gas Cylinders must be available in Gas/Petrol Stations, Grocery Stores and Super Markets.

To start selling LPG Cylinders all the Petrol Pumps and super Markets must strcitly follow the Safety Rules & Regulations issued by the Council of Ministers to regulate the distribution of Dry Gas and Cooking Gas.

Once they have all the safety regulations, Licenses will be issued to those Super markets and Petrol Stations authorizing them to sell Gas Cylinders.

SR 5 Million will be fined for those who violates the Safety regulations including Harsh punishments and withdrawal of their license.
